Jackman & Craig Schedule Benefit Closing Performance of A Steady Rain

The sell-out Broadway run of Keith Huff’s A Steady Rain will continue for one additional performance “at the request of Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman,” according to a news release. The two stars have added an “absolute final performance” on December 6, with all proceeds to benefit New Yorkers For Children and the NYCPBA Widows & Children’s Fund. The play is winding up a record-breaking 14-week run at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, directed by John Crowley.

A Steady Rain tells the story of two Chicago cops who are lifelong friends and their differing accounts of a few harrowing days that changed their lives forever. Jackman and Craig began performances on September 10 and have been routinely grossing more than $1 million a week, a huge sum for a non-musical production.
